CLAUSON MARSHALL RACING AND Emerson Axsom to run 2021 Kokomo Smackdown
Emerson Axsom will pilot the Clauson Marshall Racing Driven2SaveLives #39BC Sprint Car
INDIANAPOLIS – Clauson Marshall Racing is pleased to announce that Emerson Axsom will be driving the Driven2SaveLives #39BC Sprint Car for the 2021 Kokomo Smackdown. Axsom will make his Sprint Car debut this weekend with a trio of races.

Tim Clauson, co-owner of Clauson Marshall Racing, stated, "First and foremost, I want to thank Cole Bodine for the time and effort he has given to CMR, our family and Driven2SaveLives over the last two years. He is a racer who came to me with a dream and was willing to work for the opportunity he earned. We wish him nothing but success as he continues his racing career."

Clauson went on to say, "My passion for the sport is rooted in working with the next generation of drivers and I feel really fortunate to be able to give Emerson his first taste of driving a sprint car. What he, his family and team have done at the National Midget level has been impressive. We will run a flex schedule as he continues to chase the USAC National Midget Championship in the Petry Motorsports #15. I am looking forward to being a small part in what I am sure will be a big future for Emerson in the sport. Welcome to team CMR, Emerson!"

Emerson Axsom stated, "I'm super excited to have an opportunity in a car with so much history for my sprint car debut. I am honored to be able to spread awareness about organ donation and Indiana Donor Network's Driven2SaveLives program through racing and to keep the legacy of Bryan Clauson and the #39BC car going. I'm super thankful for Taylor McLean, Tim Clauson, Diana Clauson, Richard Marshall, Jennifer Marshall and everyone at Clauson Marshall Racing for the opportunity, and I cannot wait for the future with such a great team!"

Emerson, Clauson Marshall Racing and the Driven2SaveLives #39BC sprint car will be on track Friday, August 20th at Gas City I-69 Speedway, Saturday, August 21st at Lincoln Park Speedway and Sunday, August 22nd at Paragon Speedway. You can keep up with all the action by following Clauson
